Ogham (pronounced OH-um) is an early medieval writing system used primarily in Ireland, dating from around the 4th to 7th centuries AD. It is the earliest known form of writing used to record the Irish language.

At its core, Ogham is an alphabet, made up of a series of straight lines or notches arranged along a central stemline. This gives Ogham its distinctive, almost coded appearance.

This is my interpretation of the spelling of the Ogham word for Light, known as Solas or Lus in the Irish language.
